Rick is best known as the original Frankie Valli in the Las Vegas production of “Jersey Boys” for 3 and 1/2 years, receiving the award for Best Singer in Las Vegas.
Rick Faugno has been performing professionally since the age of 12 when he played Will Rogers, Jr. in "Will Rogers Follies" on Broadway. Faugno went on to study acting and theatre, and earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from New York University. Since then, his career has included such memorable Broadway shows as "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," "Fosse," "Wonderful Town," and "Conversations with My Father" as well as national tours of "The Boy Friend," directed by Julie Andrews and "Jersey Boys," in the critically acclaimed role of Frankie Valli. Faugno was named 'Best Singer in Las Vegas' by Las Vegas Review-Journal. In 2011, he created the New Classic Vegas one man show, "Body & Soul" at the Las Vegas Hilton. He's appeared on television programs including the Tony Awards, America's Got Talent, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, and LIVE! with Regis and Kelly. Faugno won the award for 'Best Performance' at the Orlando Film Festival for his portrayal of Alexander Mann in "Virgin Alexander."
Rick was recently seen Off-Broadway in the Icelandic rock musical 'Revolution in the Elbow of Ragnar Agnarson Furniture Painter' and with the NY Philharmonic in 'Show Boat' at Lincoln Center, to be aired this year on PBS. Also in Las Vegas, he created and starred in 3 one-man shows, winning the award for best lounge act. He was featured in the 'A Chorus Line' documentary 'Every Little Step', appeared as Frankie Valli on The Tony Awards and America's Got Talent. Guest starred on “The Newsroom and “Conan O’Brian”.
Most recently Rick appeared in the recent Broadway revival of 'On The 20th Century' with Kristen Chenoweth and Peter Gallagher.
Joyce Chittick and Rick Faugno first met when they were paired up as boyfriend and girlfriend in the theatrical production, “The Boyfriend.” Later, the talented twosome replayed those roles in the Broadway hit, “Wonderful Town.” If they had taken that as a sign, they would have tied the knot right then, instead of waiting until after a trial run as Mr. and Mrs. in the Vegas hit, “Jersey Boys.”

Don't miss the Comedy Thriller
By Ira Levin
Sept. 16, 17, 23, 24 @ 7:30pm and Sept. 18, 25 @ 2pm, 2016
Directed by Daryl Harris
(The 39 Steps and Lend Me a Tenor)
Produced by Karen Pierson
(The 39 Steps and Lend Me a Tenor)
Deathtrap is “Two-thirds a thriller and one-third a devilishly clever comedy”.
One of the great popular successes of recent Broadway history, this ingeniously constructed play offers a rare and skillful blending of two priceless theatrical ingredients: gasping inducing thrills and spontaneous laughter. A down-on-his-luck playwright’s student tells him he has written the perfect suspense play and will bring it to the playwright’s Connecticut home tonight. The suspense over whether the playwright will kill the student and take credit for his play forms the crux of Ira Levin’s thriller. Deathtrap provides twists and turns and sudden shocks in such abundance that audiences will be held spellbound until the very last moment.

One of the most captivating musical shows of our time, Bye Bye, Birdie, tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army. The singer, Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, has a pompadour and thick sideburns; he wears gaudy gold costumes and speaks in a rugged voice. It is a feel good, high energy show peppered with old fashion fun.
